Project Group Selection Sheet submission due date is on the 31st of October! You have to submit a hardcopy of the form to any of the lab engineers either during your lab time or else!
This due date applies to other project proposals as well! If you choose a project of your own, you have to submit a 1-2 paper proposal of your suggested project along with the selection sheet! We will look into your proposal and inform you of our acceptance decision within 72 Hrs!
No late submissions of projects or selection sheets are accepted! We will be preparing the project discussion schedule based on the sheets we receive by the 31st!
Failure to submit your sheet by the due date will be regarded as your wish not to submit a project! Your mark will be graded as zero!
This post is to remind you that the first lab quiz will be held on the week of 24th October at the beginning of the LCD experiment! It is a out of 5 marks! Study well.
The quiz will be based on all study material from Lab 1 till Lab 3!
Make sure you come early! There will be no make up quiz!
You are not allowed to bring any study material with you! This is a closed-book quiz! We will provide you with any material you need!

The HD44780 LCD datasheet is available under the Extra Resources link! You should be familiar with it since it is the only LCD resource we allow you to use in the exam!
Experiment 3 - Basic System Analysis and Design - has been posted! This experiment introduces flowcharts and the methodology of designing basic systems starting from understanding the problem statement until writing the code
Proteus simulator is introduced in this experiment! Students Need to get the SW package (either download it from the Extra Resources link) or get it from the lab!
Two Hardware Guides have also been posted. The first is essential study material. Students are expected to review it throughly and be prepared for next week's practical experiment!
Note that a 45-minute session of next lab will be concerned with analyzing a simple system and drawing its flowchart! So study this part well!
